You don’t find trust; you build it. And you build it at the design phase, not in a committee meeting after a failure. The most effective tool we have for this is governance by design. This means building systems that are inherentlytransparent.

I’m convinced the future of Responsible AI lies in auditing and certification. We’re moving toward a world where AI systems will be independently audited, much like a SOC 2 or ISO certification for data security.

We will see the rise of “AI auditors”—third-party firms that specialize in validating an AI’s behavior, biases, and decision-making against established ethical standards. Your organization won’t just claim your AI is fair and safe; you’ll have a certificate to prove it.
